Okay, using chalk might have seemed odd at first, and I am sure that foam rolling your legs seems even more out of place right now, but trust me, it works. This step towards a bigger bench should not be limited to just your lower body, you really should foam roll your upper body as well. There are a few reasons for this.
Powerlifters lift the heaviest weights in the world. The world record for bench press is held by a powerlifter, not a bodybuilder. It then makes sense from a purely common sense stand point to model what this group of people do. Secondarily, the science backs it. Training in a lower rep range (which we will go in depth on below) works for strength and power, which is exactly what we are looking for.
Don't neglect the concrete benches. They can look extremely elegant in classic gardens, gardens with a lot of grass and trees. Concrete benches are perfect for do-it-yourself project because they are easy to make and come very cheap. Their disadvantages are mostly two - they can cool quickly when it's cold outside and they can't be moved (at least not easily). A concrete bench remains there once you install it.
Bench stools are the best additions to your home, especially the hallway, conservatory and cloakroom. Also, you can place them as a centre piece of furniture, complementary to sofa, near a window, etc. In fact, bench stools are highly functional and beneficial to be placed in a hallway as they act as the effective perch to take off your boots and shoes. Also, when your kids arrive from schools or after playing, you can utilise these stools to take off their muddy shoes in a convenient manner.
