Benches are not good or bad just based on size, but the bench should be large enough for your own needs. If more than two people will sit on it at a time, it should be at least 5 feet long. The seat shouldn't be too low to the ground which is a frequent problem with DIY benches.
On the other hand the largest bench isn't always the best. You should consider the space you have and where the bench will be located, and make sure it will fit well. This is really important for indoor benches.
Okay, using chalk might have seemed odd at first, and I am sure that foam rolling your legs seems even more out of place right now, but trust me, it works. This step towards a bigger bench should not be limited to just your lower body, you really should foam roll your upper body as well. There are a few reasons for this.
